Marilyn Petrequin visits colleges and universities nationally on a regular basis. She also routinely attends both regional and national conferences. In this way, she is very familiar with new trends and developments at the colleges and universities nationwide. Marilyn’s background is in the public schools, where she was at one time a teacher and later a college counselor. Her previous experience includes spending three years as the high school representative on the six member National Advanced Placement Committee, where she also read and evaluated the nationally written student exams over a seven-year period. She was elected to and served a three-year term on the College Board’s Western Region Guidance and Admissions Committee, learning from the inside the workings of that organization. She also has had the privilege of periodically attending admissions committee meetings at two national liberal arts colleges.
